About us

The Think Tank of Iranian Affairs is a London-based non-profit organisation, established after the new revolutionary era of “Woman, Life, Freedom” in Iran.

We are fellow Iranian scholars with a variety of backgrounds who aim to study problems of power struggles and barriers of establishment of democracy in Iran. Some members of the Think Tank of Iranian Affairs are currently living in Iran and therefore we are very conservative in sharing some of our information. We do see that as a delicate and challenging set of circumstances and to gain the maximum trust of our readers and collaborators whilst we are committed to full confidentiality of our analysers identities where there is a risk, our protocols and sources of information are transparent and reliable.

We aim to promote policy discussion between citizens and provide a structured dialogue among political parties. By raising these debates and our access and studies of political ground in Iran, we aspire to enhance democratic values and principles and develop major public policies for Iran in transition.

Our charitable status helps to remain an independent and non-profit organisation. Our research and analysis are publicly available, and we are open to organise in-depth research projects and provide timely analysis for actionable policies.

Our Objectives

Think Tank of Iranian Affairs will pursue the following objectives:

Blogs and Articles

In addition to its official website and publications, the organisation will explore other platforms to disseminate its content. Blogs and articles will leverage its research and expertise to offer insightful commentary on contemporary issues.

Governance and Staffing

The Think-Tank of Iranian Affairs will necessitate a staffing resource capable of generating rigorous, reputable, and impactful research. This team must possess the ability to conduct research, analyze data, orchestrate events, and effectively communicate across diverse platforms and audiences. Initially, our organization will commence its operations with a compact core team, augmenting its resources as the need arises.
