Unveiling Totalitarianism: Deception, Propaganda, and Ideology in a Dark Age

In totalitarianism, the goal of propaganda is to control the news in a way that interprets ideological outcomes as reality. The reality is the Achilles heel of totalitarianism. From the perspective of totalitarianism, “reality” does not exist. There is only hyperreality created by advertising networks for citizens to consume.

When every day you can create an image, and before any scrutiny of the accuracy of the previous image, a replacement image is offered for consumption, one can foster the perception that the world operates exactly as the ideology dictates.

The trinity of totalitarianism, propaganda, and ideology continually invest in the consumption of news audiences and their mental laziness. However, for citizens in the dark age, there are times when they come to realize that things don’t seem right. Their genuine protests are met with multi-layered accusations: on one level, they are perceived as uninformed, and gradually, they are labeled with allegations such as being venal.

It’s evident that there is some organization in suppression and propaganda. The duty of propaganda is to justify the punishment of those who don’t accept oppression and ideological advertising: through dehumanization and being seen as bizarre.

This is why pivotal points are crucial: where the organization of deceptive reality crumbles. Places where citizens can discover when and by whom at other times, they are being sold ideological fantasies instead of reality. Points that, like a very dim light, illuminate the space for citizens in a dark age. In response, everyone must be held accountable for their statements where they are.

Opposing the nature of Israel for the Islamic Republic in Iran is an ideological foundation. It’s a place where any crime is committed on a predetermined side, which has been designated as our enemy in advance. Here, propaganda also shows that suppression and crime are not exclusive to it, and inherent enmity with a predetermined enemy is reinforced.
